Make Moves that Matter

I'm so excited to partner with Back on My Feet to fight homelessness and permanently lift our brothers and sisters out of poverty and addiction.

For my part, I'll be completing a series of four extreme endurance races to help draw attention to and fundraise for this great cause. During the 2025 season, I'll be attempting to complete the Arizona Monster 300, Tahoe 200, Bigfoot 200 and Moab 240. That's a total of 940 miles of trail running with over 155,000' of elevation gain. This is the inaugural year for the Arizona Monster 300, which means no one has ever attempted to complete all four of these races in the same year before.

It's a daunting task, to be sure, but it's nothing compared to the uphill battle facing so many who feel stuck in the cycle of poverty today. Fortunately, there are organizations like Back on My Feet to help lead the way and provide hope. I spoke with their team personally, and I was overwhelmingly impressed with how they pair the consistency and dedication required to be in their running club with tangible initiatives to get people pointed toward a better future.

Back on My Feet empowers people to break free from the cycles of poverty, homelessness, and/or addiction through the power of fitness, community, and employment resources.

Operating in 16 cities nationwide, Back on My Feet recruits members at homeless shelters and rehabilitation facilities. Their members begin their journey by committing to run 2-3 days a week and when they are ready, move on to educational support, job training programs, employment partnership referrals, and housing resources. Since 2007, Back on My Feet has served more than 15,000 individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness and engaged more than 150,000 volunteers and supporters. Their members have run a collective 500,000+ miles and obtained more than 10,000 jobs and homes.

Please consider donating to this great cause that not only helps those in need but strives to break them free of the cycle and into productive and hopeful lives.

To give you an idea of the impact your donation could have:
- $50 could help a member reclaim critical documents (like a license or birth certificate) needed for employment.
- $100 could provide a member with 4-6 hours of career coaching.
- $250 could ensure a member has safe and reliable transit to and from work.
- $500 provide materials and tools to work in a trade position.
- $1,000 help a member obtain professional certifications / licenses or pursue a degree for employment.

Thank you for your support!

Running 250mi to help kids with Barth Syndrome

In 2024, I completed my first 200+ mile race at the Cocodona 250. The most rewarding part of the experience was working with a great charity to help people who really needed a hand. I'm so excited to partner with Back on My Feet this season and continue using my gifts to help others.
