2026 NYC Half Marathon supporting Back on My Feet



The United Airlines NYC Half is ready to take you through 13.1 miles of New York City streets! The race will begin in Brooklyn near Prospect Park before taking runners across the East River via the Manhattan Bridge. Once in Manhattan, runners will race along the Lower East Side, up to Midtown, and through Times Square before finishing in Central Park.

By signing up for the Back on My Feet team, FundRacers will agree to raise $1,500 to secure their entry into the race, and to support our mission and our members.
Step 1: Hit the 'Register Now' button and get your fundraising page started with a $25 fee that goes toward your $1,500 fundraising minimum.
Step 2: After registering with us and raising $1,000 of your $1,500 mandatory fundraising minimum by February 23, 2026, you'll receive an email with a link to register directly with the NYRR. This is a separate registration fee of about $150-$200 based on NYRR membership status and is due to be complete by March 10, 2026.
Step 3: Start Fundraising! Your minimum is due the Monday before race day, Monday, March 9, 2026. Our FundRacing team will be with you every step of the way!
All team members are eligible to participate in our FundRacing incentive program and receive Back on My Feet-branded gear - a tech t-shirt when you reach your first $100 raised, and one additional item of your choice based on where you finish fundraising.

Back on My Feet empowers people to break free from the cycles of poverty, homelessness, and/or addiction through the power of fitness, community, and employment resources.
Operating in 16 cities nationwide, Back on My Feet recruits members at homeless shelters and rehabilitation facilities. Our members begin their journey by committing to run 2-3 days a week and when they are ready, move on to educational support, job training programs, employment partnership referrals, and housing resources. Since 2007, Back on My Feet has served more than 15,000 individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness and engaged more than 150,000 volunteers and supporters. Our members have run a collective 500,000+ miles and obtained more than 10,000 jobs and homes.
With your support, the communities we build together around the U.S. serve as lifelong support systems, removing shame and isolation. It’s about the drive, grit, and courage to take that first step toward a new life. And while it may not be an easy road, we’re there every step of the way.
